Twenty-five-year-old contemporary artist Nicholas Kontaxis thrives as a self-taught abstract artist – expressing his unique passion for life through his vibrant paintings, a riot of primary colors despite living with a brain tumor and 50,000 seizures to date. Kontaxis expresses himself through his bold, colorful and inspirational large-scale canvases that have touched countless individuals and collectors from around the world. His paintings have become his voice despite limited expressive verbal skills. Kontaxis, a true brut artist, has landed solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, Palm Desert, Sun Valley, Chicago, Atlanta, Brooklyn and London.
